Distinguished scientists and leading international experts in bioengineering and nanotechnology will convene at the 5th SBE International Conference on Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (ICBN 2010), to share the latest research advancements at the interface of science, engineering and medicine. Held in Singapore from August 1-4, this interdisciplinary forum is co-organized by the Society for Biological Engineering (an AIChE Technological Community) and the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN).

Delegates are invited to submit abstracts for consideration for oral or poster presentations. Abstracts should be submitted online via www.icbn2010.com by February 15, 2010. All abstracts should be no longer than 300 words (single-spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font), and should clearly state the title, authors’ names (underline presenting author), affiliation and address. Notification of abstract acceptance will be e-mailed to delegates on April 1, 2010.

Funding of up to USD 500 and Registration Fee waiver will be provided to selected overseas students and postdoctoral fellows to travel to ICBN 2010 to present their latest research results. This grant may be used for travel or accommodation at the ICBN 2010 Conference. Only students and postdoctoral fellows who are currently studying at a university outside Singapore are eligible to apply for this travel award. The Awards will be presented at ICBN 2010. Award recipients will be selected by the ICBN 2010 Technical Program Committee based on the merit of their submitted abstracts.
