- Online Submissions: Abstracts should be submitted online via www.icbn2010.com by February 15, 2010.
- Size: Each abstract should be no longer than 300 words, and should be typed in 12 pt Times New Roman font, single-spaced.
- Format: Start new paragraphs with one line spacing without indentation. Paragraphs must be justified. Do not include tables or figures in your abstract and use only SI-units.
For Word documents, use A4 page size (210 mm × 297 mm or 8.27 in × 11.69 in) with top, bottom, left and right margins of 30 mm each.
- Preferred Session : Please state your preferred session clearly at the top of your abstract. Select only one preferred session from the list provided.
- Abstract Title: The title of the abstract must be displayed at the top of the abstract, in title caps and bold.
- Author(s) and Affiliation(s): Include authors' first and last names, affiliation and country. Do not include degrees or titles.
- Contact Details: Include the presenting author's (and corresponding author's, if different from presenting author) full name, affiliation, email address, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers.

Content: The abstract should consist only of text. It should contain a brief description of the work undertaken. Conclusions must be supported by data. Organize the body of the abstract as follows:
- Purpose of the Study
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
Place unusual abbreviations or acronyms in parentheses after first use. Do not identify author(s) or affiliated institution(s) in the text.
- Language: English is the official language of the conference and all abstracts must be submitted in English. Abstracts submitted in other languages will not be accepted.
- The Scientific Program Committee will make the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of any abstract.
- The ICBN 2010 Secretariat will send the notification of acceptance of the abstract only to the Presenting Author or the Corresponding Author. It is the responsibility of the Presenting/Corresponding Author to notify the other authors about the status of the abstract.
- Once the abstract is accepted, the Presenting Author must register to be a ICBN 2010 Delegate.
- Authors of abstracts accepted for presentations must be responsible for all expenses incurred in the production of their presentation, travel and accommodation during the conference. Upon request, the Conference Secretariat may provide a letter of invitation for visa application purposes only.
